The Art Pantry was an initiative for youth in the Capital Region of NY expressing the need for a creative outlet during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative provided support to youth through materials, supplies, guidance, and feedback, enabling them to engage in their art and creative expression. The Art Pantry emerged from collaborative efforts between Arts Letters & Numbers, the NOpiates committee, Averill Park School District, the Town of Sand Lake, and Sand Lake Center for the Arts. It stands as one of several creative initiatives aimed at supporting and advocating for the well-being of young people.
